VWATJ APP310 SOP Ceremony

We Intensifies E-components Production for E-mobility

[Tianjin, November 13, 2020] Today, the APP310 SOP Ceremony held successfully in VWATJ. Volkswagen Group China continued the forward in the e-mobility transformation with the start of the pro-duction of APP310, the first e-drive product powering MEB platform pure-electric ID. models in Volkswagen Automatic Transmission Tianjin (VWATJ). The first APP310 off the line also marks the 5 millionth high-quality product produced by VWATJ since 2014. This is another historic moment after SOP of APP290 and DQ400e last year!

Dr. Woellenstein, CEO of Volkswagen Group China, Mr. Engel, EVP Production /& Logistics BoD Member VWATJ, Mr. Eichhorn, EVP President of Audi China as well as the Government officials have attended this SOP ceremony and give us inspiring speeches.

During the ceremony, Mr. Fenstermann and Dr. Hasenpusch, BoM of VWATJ delivered wonderful speeches, and Mr. Fenstermann (GMT) even had a live conversation with Mr. Korzinovski, General Manager of Volkswagen Kassel plant via live video connection. The conversation between the two General Managers of both Tianjin and Kassel plants helps us to understand more about the efforts made by both parties to make it come true.

With the e-components production at full speed ahead at VWATJ, Volkswagen Group China will be able to provide Chinese customers with zero-emission driving, creating a more environmentally friendly and sustainable future for all.
