Head of Products Region China Invited to Visit ATJ, New Projects in the Spotlight

On October 18^th, Mr. Matthias Glodny, Head of Products Region China, and Dr. Tobias Stueckler, were invited to visit ATJ.

Mr. Heiko Knatz, General Manager Technical, Mr. Bernd Averes, General Manager Commercial, and department heads warmly welcomed the visitors. After company general introduction, accompanied by the General Manager Technical, Mr. Matthias Glodny and Dr. Tobias Stueckler visited our main production lines and H4a, which is in building for APP550, and got close to our competitive transmissions and e-drives. In the afternoon, TD colleagues gave an overview of Chinese market with its trends, detailed competitiveness analysis and their focus in the future. After the plant tour, an in-depth exchange on component strategy was held with the focus on the development and direction of our new projects, including APP350, APP550, MEB eco+ etc..

As Volkswagen Group speeds up its pace towards electrification with full efforts, ATJ is actively seeking for the implementation of multiple new projects. This visit has laid a solid foundation for further communication and corporation. Meanwhile, ATJ proved again that we have both a united spirit and strong power in the face of fierce market competition. The future is full of possibilities, and we are going to make them true.
